These Elevated Work Platforms (EWP ) are designed to go where the others can't go. The real rough terrain / off road Access Equipment. Due to the specialist performance of this Tracked Scissor is the only one of its kind in the South Island at present time. The machine will be based in Southland at Invercargill. The company is willing to discuss delivery to Queenstown or the rest of the Otago Region. As this Scissor travels at a full 3500 Kg on a trailer the company prefers to do the delivery and pick up. Being on tracks they can travel up stairs, through mud and slush and over rough ground, due to the extra traction and less pressure on the ground as the tracks spread the weight more evenly. A wheeled scissor or boom lift machine struggles in soft ground or bad rough due to them having traction problems. Due to there low centre of gravity the tracked scissors are very stable on soft ground, and can operate on and up to a 20 degree up slope, a 15 degree down slope or 14 degree side ways slope and still rise to its 10 meter working height ( 8 meter deck height) at these extreme ground level angles. The closed working deck is 1300 mm wide by 1800 mm long, but with the roll out deck extended its length is 2900 mm. With a 300 Kg deck capacity. The scissor in it's narrow track width for getting through holes is 1460 mm. These great scissors have one down fall, due to having tracks they have a maximum walk speed of 2.7 KPH which is slower than wheeled machines.

The crawler traction overcomes all the standard limits of traditional 4x4 traction providing the opportunity to work in limited spaces.
